Most learners on the BTEC Level 3 programme work towards a BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in year one and progress onto an extended Diploma in year two. The emphasis is on learning theories, concepts and practices within engineering that will provide knowledge and understanding to enable the learner to analyse, solve and evaluate real engineering problems. Learners then benefit from a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification which carries UCAS points for University entry or contributes to the framework of an apprenticeship in Engineering. In this study programme you will apply the principles and knowledge on how to successfully work in Engineering that will include, but not be limited to: - Product Design & Manufacture - Calculus - Computer Aided Design - Electronics - Metallic material - Engineering process - Engineering principles
