Tony brings extensive experience in people development, partnerships, and employment support. A passionate advocate for youth employment, he has supported initiatives like the Movement to Work Scheme and Youth Hub. At CPCA, Tony will work with businesses across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to attract, upskill, and retain talent. We’re excited to have him on board!

Stephen Buttriss, Skills and Employment Officer

Stephen Buttriss brings over four decades of experience in engineering and workforce development. Starting as an apprentice and rising to leadership at Stainless Metalcraft, he possesses a deep, practical understanding of industry needs. Following a successful tenure establishing the North Cambridgeshire Training Centre, Stephen now joins the Cambridge & Peterborough Combined Authority’s Employment and Skills Department. Here, he helps local businesses navigate funding landscapes and access vital training opportunities. Stephen is dedicated to future-proofing the region’s workforce and driving economic growth through strategic employer engagement and talent development.
